On WREG.com (Redesign Coming)
How can you tell when WREG's George Brown is out of town? The station's Web site rarely updates when he's gone.
So, in case you haven't figured it out, Brown is out of town but for a good reason: he's in Chicago, working with the Tribune Co. staffers on a redesign of WREG.com
It's about time.
In any event, it's unclear when the new site will launch. I hope it's soon but when it does we'll get to see firsthand how the year-old partnership between Local TV LLC, which owns WREG, and the Tribune Co. really works.
This should be interesting.

Tribune is bankrupt. It's great to know the company is making great use of its money.
